Mora was born from a pure desire: to find a secure and aesthetically pleasing resting place for your bodily data. We position it as a "Private Vessel"—meaning this garden has no outward-facing doors, and only you hold the key.
A Space for Your Data
Local-First Principle.Every period log, mood tag, medication time, and ring status is securely stored using SwiftData. This is a "private-by-default" architectural design.
Protected on Your Device.Mora is designed to keep your data with you. Your records primarily remain on your device and are protected by Apple's built-in system security. We do not move this information outside your private space unless you explicitly choose to enable a feature that does so.
Gentle Boundaries with Apple
To ensure the longevity of this vessel, we synchronize with Apple on necessary technical layers while maintaining strict privacy boundaries:
Secure StoreKit TransactionsRegardless of the purchase option you choose, all financial transactions are handled by the App Store. We never see your payment details.
iCloud & HealthKitFuture iCloud backups and Apple Health integration will require your manual activation. Data will reside in your personal iCloud space, beyond our reach. To keep certain access states consistent across your Apple devices, Mora may also sync one minimal activation-related timestamp to your Apple ID via iCloud. This sync does not include any health records.
The Only Rhythm is Yours
Here, we do not warn or rush; we only observe and invite. Should you decide to leave, all local data will be erased the moment you uninstall the app. You can reclaim your data's rhythm at any time, burden-free.
Website statistics & Android waitlist
Website Statistics: With your consent, we collect limited, anonymous browsing data (such as page views and clicks) to improve our website. We do not use GA4, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking, and we never collect personal details like your IP address or health records. This data is automatically deleted within 30 days. You can change your preference at any time using the Privacy settings.
Android Waitlist: You can join the waitlist regardless of your statistics preference. We collect your email solely to notify you when our Android app launches. Your email will not be used for other marketing purposes and will be deleted after the notification is sent (or within 365 days). To request deletion earlier, email liuw109904@gmail.com.
Data Storage: All website events and waitlist emails are securely processed and stored using Google services (Apps Script and Sheets) under strict access controls.
